Thursday, October 22, 2009 I have to say, with all bias whatsoever, this is one of the best bands ever. While I admire Epik High, while I think Radiohead is pretty cool, while there are various artists everywhere with catchy music, at the end of the day, it will always be TVXQ! My five beloved, talented 'gods' of the East. While I don't worship them as 'gods', I really have to thank God for having brought such wonderful people into being, they must be angels, because it's unbelievable. They have gorgeous voices, their dance skills are pretty damn awesome, and I truly believe they are good people. And when I say good people, I meant humans. I believe they don't go around sabotaging people, they don't backstab and they don't hurt others on purpose. They don't have to climb the corporate ladder, they don't trample on others to get to where they did. They worked hard and relied on themselves and each other, they sacrificed to get to where they are today, and now they're fighting for freedom. They don't bully their fans, although many try to mar their image with rumours, with false accusations and over analysis. I'm so glad that our boys have been so strong, I'm so glad that they never gave up once in their training, they never left their dreams behind, I want to be as hardworking as them, I want my passion for writing to be aflame again, I don't want to leave behind everything. I don't want it to become a chore. I had to post this one, because the lyrics really touched me. This one seems to be really expertly translated, instead of loosely and somewhat inaccurately by others. It's not your fault that those hands are cold, carrying the scar from your childhood. Are you afraid to love someone? Turning your back from the true meaning of the words. The heart that has been embraced slowly starts to thaw like ice. This is probably a blur of emotion. This is probably incoherent. They may be some gay boyband to you, they may be a bunch of guys you think are just... guys, but to me, they are the ones who have held onto my hand when no one else would. They are the angels that God sent me, to carry me as I am broken and unable to move.
